British Soap Awards 2006 - Latest Betting Odds

Is it Eastenders or Coronation St that deserves the Best British Soap accolade this year? Paddy Power reckons, without a doubt, that Eastenders is the best - and is currently 2/5 to win the Best British Soap title. Coronation St is 15/8

Bradley Walsh, who plays Danny Baldwin is currently Even money to take home 'best actor' whilst Shayne Richie as Alfie Moon is second favourite at 9/4. For the best actress, you can get Lacey Turner (Stacy Slater) at 7/4 and Jessie Wallace (Kat Moon) at 15/8. Kate Ford, who plays Tracey Baldwin is currently 3/1

The sexiest male is a macho fight between Nigel Harmon - who's Dennis Rickman in Albert Square - at 6/4, vs Chris Fountain (Justin Burton) at 9/4. For the female counterparts, favourite to take the title as sexiest woman in a soap is Kara Tointon (Dawn Swan) at 5/4 followed by Roxanne Pallett (Jo Stiles) at 7/4

Finally, if you think you've got the hold on who's the soap villan of the year, Billy Murray (Johnny Allen) is odds-on favourite at 8/11 whilst Bill Ward is at 3/1 - he plays Charlie Stubbs
