BAFTA TV Awards 2006 - Nominations Announced

This year's TV BAFTA shortlist has been announced - and the BBC's adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic, Bleak House, leads the way with 4 nominations - including 2 for Best Actress. Comedy 'The Thick of It' gets 3 nominations

Noel Edmonds also completes his TV comeback with a nomination for top Entertainment Performance in Channel Four's 'Deal or No Deal' whilst Ricky Gervais gets his 'best sitcom' nomination for the excellent 'Extras' but surprisingly not a comedy actor nomination
